related errors. If any storage-related error is reported, contact Huawei technical
support.

After the power module is replaced, label it to facilitate subsequent operations.
6.2.2 Replacing a Power Module (for 5300F V5/5500 V5/5500F
V5)
This section describes how to replace a power module. Except that there is a slight
dierence on removing and inserting power cables between AC and DC power
modules, other operations performed for them are the same. This section uses AC
power modules as an example.
Impact on the System
During the replacement of a power module, if the redundant power module fails,
system services will be interrupted.
Prerequisites
The spare part is on hand.
The power module that you want to replace has been located.
You can locate a component in either of the following ways:
Locating a component based on alarms in DeviceManager: On the Alarms and Events
page of DeviceManager, view the help information and determine the ID of the
component to be replaced. Then locate the component at your site based on its ID.
Locating a component based on the status of its Running/Alarm indicator: For details
about the indicators on dierent components, see Indicator Introduction of each
component in the
Product Description
specic to your product model and version.
