◎ Note the following points, which may cause
malfunction or damage, when handling the au
IC card.
- Do not touch the IC (metal) part of au IC
card.
- Insert in the correct direction.
- Do not use force to attach or remove.
◎ When the au IC card is not attached properly
or the au IC card is abnormal, an error
message appears.
◎ Do not lose the au IC card after it has been
removed.
◎ Do not insert the au IC card with a conversion
adapter attached to. Doing so may cause
malfunction.
◎ The bundled SIM card removal tool (sample) is
necessary to attach/remove the au IC card.
 
When the au IC card is not inserted, the
following operations are not available. "

• Making initial settings for au-mail and
