6.27 Why won't my car play music or videos when I

Cars that don't use the Windows operating system don't support playing music, videos, or
other files located on your phone's internal storage.
When you connect to your car through a USB cable, you can use the external microSD card. In
the drop-down notification panel, touch USB storage to view and play music, videos, or other
files on your microSD card.
6.28 Why can't my phone connect to computers that run
Windows 7 and 8 while in Manage files mode?
Manage files Mode uses the MTP protocol to transfer files. This requires Windows to have the
standard USB drivers installed. However, some third party chipset manufacturers require
non-standard drivers, which can lead to compatibility issues.
If you can't view your phone's internal storage when connected in Manage files mode, it is
recommended that you try connecting a different brand of phone to the computer. If the same
problem occurs, it could be that the drivers on your computer are incompatible. If this is the
case, you should contact your computer's manufacturer.
6.29 How can I connect my phone to a computer running
Linux or OSX?
In the notification panel there is a help button to the right of the USB connected notification.
Touch the button, select your computer's operating system then follow the onscreen
instructions.
The AndroidFileTransfer.dmg driver used in OSX is updated periodically. If you encounter any
difficulties, you will need to download the latest version of the driver.
6.30 How do I enable USB debugging mode (required by a
third-party app)?
Go to Settings > About phone, then rapidly touch the build number seven consecutive times
to enable developer mode.
Touch the back key, touch Developer options, and enable USB debugging.
Due to Google security restrictions, you must follow the steps above to enter USB debugging
mode.
