14.10 Why is there a blinking red frame on my screen?
You may have enabled the developer options that are hidden in the system and selected strict
mode under Settings > Developer options > Strict mode enabled. The developer options are
for the programmers. Therefore, you are suggested to disable the developer options.
14.11 Why does the screen display the clock only in certain
area and what can I do if the touchscreen doesn't respond?
The leather case mode may be triggered. If your phone is not attached with a leather case,
disable the leather case mode under Settings > All > Smart assistance > More > Smart
cover.
14.12 Why is the Calculator screen displayed after I unlock
the screen?
There are two possible reasons:
On the lock screen, flick up the screen and touch Calculator can open the calculator.
Therefore, the calculator is triggered by mistake.
The theme is problematic. You can change the theme in the Theme app.
14.13 Can I lock the screen using the power button during
a call?
This depends on your current unlock method.
If your unlock method is Huawei unlock or None, when you press the power button
during a call you can only turn the screen on or off, but not lock it.
If your unlock method is face, pattern, PIN, fingerprint, or another password lock, you
can turn off and lock the screen during a call or turn it back on again. During a call, no
lock sound will be played.
14.14 Why does my phone often prompt "XX app restricted
from accessing location info"?
The apps installed in your phone, including the third-party apps, may read the private data on
your phone, make calls, send messages, or open the camera. To protect your system security,
Phone Manager manages the permissions of all apps. You can set the app permissions as
follows:
1. Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Permission manager.
