Procedure
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves. For details, see 1 Safety Instructions.
Step 2 Loosen the screw on the DVD drive+LCD module using a Phillips screwdriver. See
step (1) in Figure 5-23.
Step 3 Push the cover on the DVD drive+LCD module in the arrow direction, and remove
the cover. See steps (2) and (3) in Figure 5-23.

Step 4 Remove the cable from the DVD drive. See step (1) in Figure 5-24.
Step 5 Push the plastic latch on the DVD drive in the arrow direction, and push the DVD
drive outwards to remove it from the chassis. See steps (2) and (3) in Figure 5-24.
