The following conditions must be met before you set the operating mode of the
RH8100 V3.
● You have used the iBMC of the two systems to power
o the corresponding
partitions.
● The two systems have the same iBMC rmware version, BIOS version, and CPLD
version.
6. On the menu bar, choose
Cong.
7. In the left panel, choose System.
The System page is displayed.
8. In the Set FusionPar area, select Single-system and enter the standby iBMC
user name and password, as shown in Figure 7-37.

9. Click Save.
A dialog box is displayed, showing the following messages:
Before switching between the single-system and the dual-system, ensure that all service systems have
been properly powered o and iBMC is not being upgraded. Are you sure to perform the switching? If
the switching is successful, iBMC will restart. (If the iBMC or CPLD versions
dier, the switching fails).
After the switching, the user name, password, and IP address of the standby iBMC are restored to
factory settings.
10. Click OK.
iBMC restarts. After the restart, the hard partitioning switchover is complete.
11. Check the Set FusionPar area to ensure that Single system is selected.

7.8 Installing an OS
This topic describes how to install an operating system (OS) for the RH8100 V3.
The RH8100 V3 typically supports the following OSs:
● SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11.3 or later
RH8100 V3 Server
