3 HFC Consists of a TPM, NIC, LAN on motherboard (LOM), and USB
ash drive.
An HFC provides the following ports:
● USB port
● Management network port
● Serial port
● VGA port
Each HFC has a BCM5720 LOM, which is used as a service
NIC.
Each LOM has ports 0 and 1. When two LOMs communicate
with each other, port 0 on one LOM can communicate with
only port 0 on the other LOM, and port 1 on one LOM can
communicate with only port 1 on the other LOM.
If the RH8100 V3 operates in dual-system mode, one service
system can obtain information from the other service system
using the LOMs.
If the RH8100 V3 operates in single-system mode, the LOMs
do not work.
4 NIC ● One GE NIC with two or four GE ports
● One 10GE NIC with two 10GE ports
NOTE
Both types of NICs support the Network Controller Sideband Interface
(NC-SI).

5 TPM or
TCM
Choose a TPM or TCM as required.
● A TPM complies with the Trusted Computing Group (TCG)
standards and protects the platform from viruses or
unauthorized operations.
● A TCM is a hardware module that provides cryptography
computation for a trusted computing platform and has
protected storage space.

Provides a maximum capacity of 8 GB.
