The supercapacitor provides power failure protection for a
RAID controller card with the LSISAS3108 chip.
5 FIO-C The FIO-C houses a RAID controller card and provides the
management function.

card
The FM-C supports SR430C (LSISAS3108) RAID controller
cards, and supports multiple RAID levels, RAID level
migration, and drive roaming.
SR430C (LSISAS3108) RAID controller cards supports RAID 0,
1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, and supercapacitors for power failure
protection.
The FM-C supports two RAID controller cards, which are
congured for dierent compute modules.
● RAID-1 is
congured for compute module 1.
● RAID-2 is congured for compute module 5.
NOTE
If compute module 1 or 5 is not installed, the corresponding RAID
controller card is unavailable.
