Step 2 Power o the server. For details, see 5.4.2 Powering O the Server.
Step 3 Remove the power cables. For details, see 5.7 PSU.
Step 4 Remove network cables, or optical cables and optical modules from the FlexIO
card.
Step 5 Remove the server. For details, see 5.4.4 Removing the Server and Guide Rails.
Step 6 Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the FlexIO card. See (1) in Figure
5-74.

Step 7 Slowly pull out the FlexIO card. See (2) in Figure 5-74.
Step 8 Place the removed FlexIO card in an ESD bag.
Step 9 If you do not want to install another FlexIO card immediately, install a
ller panel.
