3 Internal Cabling

● In this chapter, the screw-in RAID controller card is used to illustrate cable
connections, which are the same for connecting a PCIe plug-in RAID controller
card.
● This section uses the server with Kunpeng 920 7260, 5250, or 5230 processors
as an example to describe the internal structure of a server. The internal
cabling for the server with Kunpeng 920 5220 or 3210 processors is the same.
● Servers with Kunpeng 920 5220 or 3210 processors do not support the
conguration of 24 x 2.5-inch pass-through drives.
Part No.
A Part No. uniquely identies a server component. You can nd the number on a
component or component package.
Figure 3-1 shows a cable label with the Part No. 04151201.
The actual label may be dierent from the one in the following gure, which is for
reference only.
