Step 5 Enter the network address, user name, and password.
The network address can be in any of the following formats:
●
iBMC management network port IP address (IPv4 or IPv6 address): Port
number
●
iBMC domain name address: Port number
● Enter an IPv6 address in brackets or an IPv4 address directly, for example, [2001::64]:
444 or 192.168.100.1:444.
● When the port number is the default port number 443, the port number can be left
blank.
Step 6 Select a login mode, and click Connect.
● Shared Mode: allows two users to access and manage a server at the same
time. The two users can see each other's operations.
● Private Mode: allows only one user to access and manage a server at a time.
Information shown in Figure 9-11 is displayed.

Step 7 Perform any of the following operations based on the actual situation:
● Click Yes to open the IRC.
● Click No to return to the login interface.
