3 Installation

Step 10 Reinstall the power units, bypass unit, MDU (with its support), and UPS font panels.

After you insert the power unit and bypass unit, rotate the ready switches to locked state .

Step 11 (Recommended) Install a lock for the maintenance bypass switch, as shown in Figure 3-30.

3.2.3 (Optional) Installing Antiseismic Kits

Step 1 Determine the positions for installing antiseismic kits based on the marking-off template.

Step 2 Drill holes for installing expansion bolts, and install expansion bolts.

Step 3 Move the UPS to the installation position over its castors.

Step 4 Remove the lower front panel of the UPS and PDU cover.

Step 5 Secure two antiseismic kits to the front and rear of the chassis using eight M6 screws and four

M12 screws.
