Step 3: Press and hold the power key unl
the player powers on. The power key is on the
rightmost side of the player in the center. You
will hear a beep. The buon will be green
when it is on and ash amber when it is o
and plugged into a power outlet. The ash in-
dicates that the baery is recharging. When it
stops ashing, the baery is fully charged.
You can use the Victor Reader Stratus4 M
while charging the baery.
Step 4: Aer several seconds you will hear
a welcome message. The player will take an-
other 15 seconds to congure. If you press a
buon too soon it will ask you to “please
wait”. Press the Bookshelf buon to hear the
number of books loaded on the player.
