On/Off/Volume
Rotate the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise for switching the radio ON and increase the volume.
The radio will make a quick self-test, then announce the selected channel.
Rotate counterclockwise for decreasing the volume and switching the radio OFF.
The volume can be adjusted to desired level during receiving or by pressing Squelch button.
Selecting channel
Press UP or DOWN button for selecting operating channel. The radio will announce the selected
channel.
Note! Channels that are blank or not programmed cannot be used. A constant tone is heard from the
speaker if such channel is selected.
