8. Install in opposite sequence.
9.9.7 To replace the belt on the cutting deck
1. Remove the cutting deck. Refer to
To remove and
attach the cutting deck on page 9
.
2. Remove the 4 screws and lift the frame.
3. Turn the tension pulley (A) to the side.
4. Remove the 2 screws (B) on the cutting deck cover
and remove the cutting deck cover.
5. Loosen the belt tension spring (A) and remove the
belt (B).
6. Install the new belt in opposite sequence.
Note: A decal on the inner side of the cutting deck
cover shows how to install the belt correctly.
