  Poor cutting quality with the Hwayuan Electric Cutter can stem from several factors. The gas pressure might be either too high or too low, requiring adjustment. Excess water in the air filter regulator cup can also be a culprit, so drain it regularly. Ensure the workpiece thickness is within the recommended range. Check the torch electrode and nozzle for damage, replacing them if necessary. Adjust the torch angle to ensure the plasma arc is perpendicular to the workpiece. Finally, adjust the cutting speed if it's too fast or too slow.

  If your Hwayuan Electric Cutter isn't striking an arc, but the cutting and gas pressure lights are on while the power supply and overheat lights are off, consider these possibilities: Ensure the cutting ground wire is properly connected. The gas pressure might be too high, so lower it. Inspect the torch electrode and nozzle for damage and replace if needed. A short circuit in the torch could be the problem, requiring torch replacement. Finally, the HF board might be damaged, requiring replacement.
