The general rule of thumb is to install the unit on the
cold feed pipe to where the water is heated. However,
due to the diverse range of possible applications, please
contact your
Hydropath representative for more information.

Pass the wrap through the slots in
the xing plate.

Clip on the lower section and remove the split pin.
Plug the cable into the unit and connect the
transformer to the mains supply.
The red light should glow brightly

Attach the top section of the unit to
the pipe by attaching the tie wrap.

To remove the unit from the pipe, replace the split
pin. Firmly grip the upper section just above the join
of the lower section, and slide the lower section o.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The red light shows that the signal is being
transmitted into the water - it should be bright. If this
is not the case check the following:
1. The split pin should be removed.
– If it is not, remove!
2. The mains supply should be ‘ON’.
– Check that the power supply is fully plugged into
both the mains and into the unit itself.
3. The unit might be tted in an electrical loop.
This is when the unit is tted in a pipework loop
or where there is earth bonding on either side of
the unit.
If the unit is tted in a loop, move the unit to a
location outside the loop. To remove the unit from the
pipe, re-insert the split pin.
A quick test to see if the unit is in a loop is to remove
the unit from the pipe, reassemble o the pipe, and
see if the light becomes brighter.
SOLUCIóN dE PROBLEmAS
La luz roja indica que la señal está siendo transmitida a
través del agua. La luz debe estar encendida y si esto no
ocurre, por favor haga las siguientes comprobaciones:
1. La pinza debe estar fuera del Hydroow HS38.
– Si no lo está, por favor sáquela!
2. la llave principal de electricidad debe estar abierta.
– Compruebe que el cable eléctrico esté completamente
conectado al suministro eléctrico y al equipo.
3. Es posible que el equipo esté instalado en un circuito
cerrado. Esto ocurre cuando el equipo está instalado en
un lugar donde la señal queda atrapada y no se puede
propagar.
Es necesario insertar la pinza, sacar el producto de la
tubería y desmontarlo. Si la luz roja se ilumina, hay que
encontrar una posición fuera del circuito cerrado para
instalarlo de nuevo.
Para examinar rápidamente si esto está ocurriendo, es

la luz roja se enciende, encontrar una posición fuera del lazo
para instalarlo de nuevo.
