Battery sulphation:
Sulphation is a frequent cause for battery failure.
Sulphation occurs when the battery remains discharged for a long time.
Sulphate is a normal waste product of the chemical reaction in the battery.
Visual check: check for correct fixing of the battery clamps. Make sure that the
covers of the clamps are in place. In case of loss of capacity, look for the
cause immediately. Never operate your PWC with a faulty battery.
ATTENTION
Never remove the airtight battery cover. This can damage the battery. Do
not replace the Hydrospace battery by a conventional type. Otherwise,
the electrical system cannot work properly. Always follow the instructions
on the battery cover when charging service-free batteries.
