The valve clearance for each individual valve must be checked and adjusted
according to the table for regular servicing.
Please have settings and inspections done only by an official Hydrospace dealer.
Spark plugs
Every 100 h renew the spark plugs. Check the electrode gap and status after the
break-in time (10-12 h).
ATTENTION
If the valve clearance is not adjusted, the valve might remain partly open
because of wear and tear. This reduces the performance, the valves and valve
seats will burn, and this can cause severe damage to the engine.
CAUTION
Only change the spark plugs with a cold or lukewarm engine, otherwise the
thread of the cylinder head can peel off.
Valve clearance
The clearance of the valve and the valve seats will be reduced by wear and tear.
This will change the valve control times.
