Note
Always follow the instructions on the battery housing when charging the mainten-
ance-free battery.
Dismantling the battery:
First, disconnect the black measuring cables from the battery.
Loosen the red battery cable.
Loosen the two rubber straps securing the battery.
Lift out the battery from the hull.
Clean the battery and the battery poles. Remove tough deposits with a wire
brush and then rinse the battery with fresh water.
Rinse thoroughly with clear water. Wipe the battery dry and coat the battery
poles with water-resistant grease.
ATTENTION
Never remove the airtight battery lock. The battery must not be replaced
by a conventional battery otherwise the electrical system will not work
properly.
