Usage Features
Assembly:
- Two-Adult Assembly: Recommended for safe and efficient setup.
- Soft Surface Assembly: Advised to prevent damage to the table surface during assembly.
- Tools Required: A phillips screwdriver (not included) is needed in addition to the provided Allen Key.
- Step-by-Step Instructions: The manual provides clear, illustrated steps for assembly.
- Step 1 (Leg Frame Assembly): Involves attaching the L-Shape Leg-Left and L-Shape Leg-Right to the mainframe using Wing Bolts, Bolts, and Washers. Leg Panels are then attached to these legs with screws. The mainframe is placed upside down for this step.
- Step 2 (Straight Leg Assembly): Attaching the Straight Leg-Left and Straight Leg-Right to the mainframe using Wing Bolts, Bolts, and Washers. Leg Panels are then attached to these legs with screws. This step also involves flipping the table over, which requires at least two strong adults to avoid sideways pressure on the legs.
- Step 3 (Pocket Attachment): Involves fixing each of the 6 pockets to the top rail of the table using screws.
Folding for Storage:
- Step 4 (Folding Mechanism): The table is designed to fold into an upright storage position. This involves loosening four #11 Wing Bolts on each leg, lifting the table slowly to an upright position while holding the end apron, releasing the Wing Bolts, moving them to lower holes, and then re-tightening them to secure the table in the folded position.
Gameplay (8-Ball Pool):
- Objective: Pot all balls of one color (Red or Yellow/spots and stripes), then pot the Black ball.
- Setup: Rack all colored balls in the triangle with the Black ball over the black spot. Place the White (cue) ball over the other black spot.
- First Shot: The first player strikes the colors with the White Cue Ball. If a color is potted, play continues. If the Black is potted on the first shot, balls are reset.
- General Play: Players can strike any ball (except the Black until their first color is potted). Play continues until a player fails to pot their color or commits a foul.
- Fouls (Opponent gets a free shot):
- Potting the Cue Ball (it is immediately replaced).
- Missing the player's own ball.
- Hitting an opponent's ball first.
- Hitting the Black ball first (unless all own colors are potted).
- Knocking a ball off the table.
- Losing the Game:
- Potting the Black ball before potting all own colors.
- Potting the Black ball and the cue ball at the same time.
- Potting the Black ball and one of the opponent's balls at the same time.
Gameplay (Snooker):
- Objective: Score more points than the opponent by potting balls in a specific order.
- Setup: Arrange balls as shown in the diagram, using the triangle for Red balls. Remove the triangle before play.
- First Stroke: Player plays from the 'D' area, and the Cue Ball (white) must strike a Red ball.
- Scoring:
- Potting a Red ball (value 1): Red balls remain in the pocket. Player then names and strikes a colored ball.
- Potting a Colored ball: Value of the ball is added to the score, and the colored ball is replaced on its correct spot.
- Sequence: Red -> Color -> Red -> Color, until the 'break' ends (player fails to score).
- End Game: When all Reds are off the table, the potting order is Yellow, Green, Brown, Blue, Pink, then Black. These balls are not replaced once potted.
- Fouls (Penalties added to opponent's score, minimum 4 points):
- Failing to strike the correct ball (4 points or value of first ball struck if higher).
- Cue Ball entering a pocket or being forced off the table (penalty 4 points).
- Object ball being forced off the table (penalty 4 points).
- Striking or touching a ball in play with anything other than the tip of the cue (penalty 4 points).
- Leaving opponent 'Snookered' after a foul stroke (opponent gets a free ball).
- Making a 'Push' stroke (no score, loses turn).
- Cue Ball in Pocket/Off Table: Next player continues from the 'D' area.
