Figure 4.7.1.2-1: Call from Phone to Terminal
Call process:
1. The phone dials a preset number. The terminal receives a call from the repeater,
and hears an alert indicating the phone is waiting to be answered.
Note: The contact displayed by the terminal during the call is the one set for the
repeater.
2. The terminal sends the Access Code to access the phone system and establish
the call with the phone. The terminal can communicate with the phone via the
PTT key.
3. Terminate the communication. Either the terminal or the phone can terminate
the communication. Methods available for terminating the communication:
Hang up the phone.
The terminal sends the De-Access Code through the following methods:
Send the De-Access Code manually via the Live Dial or Buffer Dial method.
Store the De-Access Code in the Phone List and send it under the Phone List.
Send the De-Access Code by pressing the shortcut key P2 (portable terminal)
or P6 (mobile terminal).
Note: The call duration is limited. It is set in the PSTN gateway (default: 10 minutes).
