7. Network and Data Sharing
7.1 Mobile Network
Before connecting to the mobile network, make sure that the SIM card is installed and the mobile data service is
activated.
7.1.1 Checking the Data Usage
You can view the amount of data usage to avoid exceeding the data usage limit.
1. Press the Navigation key to select , and then press the OK/Menu key.
2. Press the Navigation key to select Data usage, and then press the OK/Menu key.
3. Press the Navigation key to select Cellular data usage, and then press the OK/Menu key.
7.1.2 Enabling or Disabling the Data Roaming
You can access data services when you are outside the service area of your network provider.
1. Go to Data usage. For details, see step 1–2 in 7.1.1 Checking the Data Usage.
2. Press the Navigation key to select Mobile network settings, and then press the OK/Menu key.
3. Press the OK/Menu key to enable or disable Data roaming.
7.1.3 Selecting the Network Type
1. Go to Data usage. For details, see step 1–2 in 7.1.1 Checking the Data Usage.
2. Press the Navigation key to select Mobile network settings, and then press the OK/Menu key.
3. Press the Navigation key to select Preferred network type, and then select the network.
7.2 WLAN
After successful WLAN connection, you can visit the Internet or shared media from other devices in the network.
To connect the radio to the WLAN network, do as follows:
1. Press the Navigation key to select , and then press the OK/Menu key.
