Click on Settings and Control Panel.

Double-click on SCSI Adapters.

Click on the Drivers tab.

If Intel PIIX PCI Bus Master IDE Controller is listed, remove
it.

If IDE CD-ROM (Atapi 1.2)/Dual Channel PCI IDE is listed,
remove it.

Click on Add.

Click on Have Disk...

Click on OK after confirming that the installation path is correct
(usually it points to A:\).

Select ThinkPad PIIX4 IDE Driver; then click on OK.

If you are prompted to restart your computer, remove the
diskette from the diskette drive and click on Yes.
