To disconnect your keyboard from a desktop personal computer, turn
off your computer and all attached devices, and remove the keyboard
cable from the computer keyboard and mouse ports.
To disconnect the keyboard from a ThinkPad notebook computer, turn
off your computer and all attached devices, and remove the keyboard
cable, or the Keyboard/Mouse Connector cable, from the ThinkPad
port.
