Maintaining the TrackPoint Keyboard
Note: Because the keyboard is an electronic product, do not get it
wet, drop it, or bang on it.
Cleaning: To maintain smooth operation, occasionally clean the
keyboard and the TrackPoint cap with a soft cloth moistened with
water and mild soap.
Replacing the Cap: When the cap 1 on the end of the stick is
worn out, pull the cap straight off (do not twist) and replace it with a
new one. Spare caps are supplied with this option package.
Faulty Pointer Movement: Other equipment might cause electronic
interference that hinders the operation of the keyboard pointing device.
Relocate the equipment or move your computer. If the problem
continues, refer to Appendix A, “Help and Service Information” on
page 2-1.
