Reassembly:
Reassembly is carried out in reverse order.
NB! Check that the fitting has not been disturbed by pushing the outlet seating against the bottom of the cistern by
hand. Pull the plastic nut until it snaps over for correct torque. The air hoses are damaged during disassembly.
Therefore cut off about 10 mm before reassembly.
Before installation, it is recommended that walls and floor around and under the cistern are provided with a wet-room
membrane. In order that this should remain waterproof, no holes may be drilled in the floor. At the lowest space there
should be a small gap against the bathroom so that any water damage can be immediately detected.
Setting of flush water volume:
On delivery, the cistern fitting is set for a flush volume of 4 litres for full flush
and 2 litres with half flush (96963), and 5 litres for full flush and 4 litres for half
flush respectively (96964). If necessary, adjustments for other flush volumes can
be carried out as shown in the table.
Procedure:
Lift out the outlet valve as directed. Free the float hook and push the float
upwards for a smaller flush volume, and downwards for a larger flush volume.
Remove the lock nut with the Ifö key or 12 mm cap wrench. Remove the lid.
NOTE! If the cistern is in a narrow space, it may be neces-
sary to unsnap the bilge holders first. Make sure to mark
their position so that they can be refitted in the same place.
Service
Lift up the entire outlet valve, and, if necessary, replace the
valve ring 96308.
Cut off the water intake. Loosen the outlet valve, by care-
fully breaking it loose with a screwdriver.
