8.4.3 Replacing the 7 Micron Filter in the Heated Regulator
(PN G2818A-X/G2845A/G2857A)
The 7 micron filter assembly uses a replaceable cartridge filter (PN 3150-0786).
See Figure 8-38.

1 Turn off any sample flow to 3000 Micro GC.
2 Turn the relief valve to Vent on the Heated Regulator and purge all residual
pressure remaining in the sample line.
3 Unplug the heated sample conditioner and allow it to cool.
4 Loosen the screws that secure the Heated Regulator cover in place and
remove the cover.
5 Remove the 1/16 in. line at the bottom of the filter assembly See Figure 8-39.
6 Remove the nut at the bottom of the filter.
