NavTraffic and NavWeather Capabilities

Your vehicle's Navigation System is equipped with NavTraffic and NavWeather capabilities.

Essential Information

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

A CHECK TIRE PRESSURE warning message will appear in the vehicle information display and the low tire pressure warning light will illuminate.

Loose Fuel Cap Warning

A LOOSE FUEL CAP warning message will appear in the vehicle information display when the fuel-filler cap is not tightened correctly.

Fuel-Filler Door Operation

The fuel-filler door is located on the passenger's side of the vehicle. Unlock the fuel-filler door using one of the following operations.

Automatic Power Window Function

Your power windows have an automatic adjusting function to ensure windows close completely to help seal against wind noise.

Front Cup Holder Access

To open the cup holders, push the lid 1 down and release. The flap 2 will fold down when inserting a large container.

Digital Clock Adjustment

To adjust the time and the appearance of the clock on the display: Press the SETTING button on the control panel.

First Drive Features

INFINITI Intelligent Key System Operation

The INFINITI Intelligent Key system allows you to lock or unlock the vehicle, open the trunk and start the engine.

Trunk Lid Release Methods

Use one of the following methods to open the trunk: Push the trunk open request switch 1 for more than one second.

Seat Adjustment Controls

To slide the seat forward or backward, push the control switch 1 forward or backward. To recline the seatback, push the switch 2.

Automatic Drive Positioner Memory

Two positions for the driver's seat, steering column and outside mirrors can be stored in the automatic drive positioner memory.

Seat Belt Guide for Convertibles

Unsnap the seat belt guide 1 to allow rear seat passengers easier access.

Passenger Rear Seat Access

For ease in entering and exiting the rear passenger areas of the vehicle, perform the following steps:

Outside Mirror Control

To select the right or left side mirror, turn the control switch 1 right or left.

Engine Starting and Stopping

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (if so equipped) It is important to make sure the INFINITI Intelligent Key is with you.

Headlight Control Operation

HEADLIGHT CONTROL Turn the headlight control switch to the OFF position 1 to turn on the front parking, side marker, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights.

Windshield Wiper and Washer Control

Move the lever to one of the following positions to operate the windshield wipers: Mist (MIST) – One sweep operation of the wipers.

Automatic Climate Control System

AUTO BUTTON/DRIVER'S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL The automatic mode may be used year-round. Press the AUTO button to turn the system on.

Intelligent Cruise Control System

To set Vehicle-To-Vehicle Distance Control mode, press the ON/OFF button 1 for less than 1.5 seconds.

Hard Top Operation

Before opening or closing the retractable hard top, refer to your Owner's Manual for detailed warnings and cautions regarding hard top operation.

Trip Computer Display Modes

When the button 1 is pressed, the following modes will appear on the vehicle information display 2: MPG - Displays the current fuel consumption.

Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System

A cellular telephone should not be used while driving so full attention may be given to vehicle operation.

Bluetooth System with Navigation Setup

The vehicle must be stationary when connecting the phone. Press the PHONE button on the instrument panel or the button on the steering wheel.

Bluetooth System without Navigation Pairing

PAIRING PROCEDURE Press the button on the steering wheel. The system announces the available commands.

Navigation System Operation

Your Navigation System can calculate a route from your current location to a preferred destination. The real-time map display and turn-by-turn voice guidance will lead you along the route.

DVD Player Usage

With this DVD player, you can play video files via a DVD or CD from the front display.
