[Rectify tyre pressure]
The tyre pressure is too lowinatleastone of the tyres, or the tyre pressure differencebetween the wheels is toogreat.
1.
Check the tyre pressures at the next opportunity (see
“Tyres and wheels” in the “8. Maintenanceand do-it-yourself” section
)
2. If necessary, correct the tyre pressure.
3. Restartthe tyre pressure monitoring system (see
“Restarting TPMS” in the “5. Starting and driving” section
)

WARNING
Underinflated tyres pose the followingrisks:
• The tyres mayburst, especially as the load and vehicle speed increase.
• The tyres maywearexcessively and/or unevenly,whichmay greatly impair tyre traction.
• The driving characteristics, as wellassteering and braking, maybegreatly impaired.
Thereisarisk of an accident.
1. Stop the vehicle without making any sudden steering or braking manoeuvres. Payattention to the traffic conditions
as youdoso.
2. Secure the vehicle against rolling away.
3. Checkthe tyres and, if necessary,follow the instructionsfor aflattyre (see
“Flattyre” in the “6. In case of emergency” sec-
tion
).
4. Checkthe tyre pressures and, if necessary,correct the tyre pressure.
