Automatic interior lighting control

To switch on: set the switch to centre position j6.
•
To switch off: pressswitch j5.
The interior lighting automatically switches on
if you:
•
Unlock the vehicle
•
Open adoor
•
Remove the keyfrom the ignition lock.
The interior lighting is activated for ashorttime
when the keyisremoved from the ignition lock.
Youcan activate thisdelayed switch-off using
thevehicle information display (see
“Activating/
deactivating the interior lighting delayed switch-off”
earlier in thissection
).
REAR READING LIGHTS

REAR ROOM LIGHT
(where fitted)
The rear roomlight (without switches) canbe
switched on and off using the front overhead
control panel.
VANITYMIRROR LIGHTS
To access the vanity mirror,pullthe sunvisor
down andflip open the mirror cover.
The vanity mirror light illuminateswhen thevan-
ity mirror cover is opened. When the cover is
closed, the light will turn off.
LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT
Thelight illuminates while the backdoor is
opened. When the backdoor is closed, the light
will turn off.
BATTERY SAVER SYSTEM
When the interior lightstays on, it will automati-
callyturn off within aperiod of time after the
ignition switch has been turned to the OFF posi-
tion. To turn on the light again, put the ignition
switch in the ON position.
