Scratched discscannot be recovered. Replacethe
disc.
Depending on the condition in whichthey are
stored, discs maybecome unreadable due to
deterioration (for example, keeping the discsin
the passenger compartment, etc.).
Replacethe disc with adeterioration-free disc. Do
not useadeteriorated disc. The label surface of
thediscmay crackorchip, and the layer of the
label surface mayeventually peel off.
Compressed audio files cannot be played back.Ifboth music CD files (CD-DAdata) and
compressed audio files (MP3 data, etc.)are mixed
on one disc, the compressed audio files cannot be
played back.
Prepare adiscthatcontainscompressed audio
files only.
Thefiles are not named using characters that are
compliant with the specifications.
Usethe character codes and the number of
characters that are compliant with the specifica-
tionsfor folder names and file names. In addition,
always use “.MP3”, “.WMA”, “.mp3” or “.wma” file
extensions.
It takesalong time before the musicstartsplay-
ing.
The disc containsalargeamount of data. Some time mayberequired to checkthe files. It is
recommended that unnecessary folders or any
files other than compressed audio files should not
be recorded on adisc.
The sound quality is poor.The disc is dirty.Wipe off any dirtfrom the disc.
