TheICC system maintainsaselected distance
from the vehicle in front of youwithin the speed
rangeof0to 200 km/h (0 to 125MPH) up to the
setspeed. The set speed canbeselected by the
driver between30to200 km/h (20 to 125MPH).
Thevehicle travels at aset speed when the road
aheadisclear.
TheICC system is designedtomaintain ase-
lected distancefrom the vehicle in front of you
and reducethe speed to matchaslower vehicle
ahead. The system will decelerate the vehicle as
necessary and if the vehicle ahead comes to a
stop, the vehicle decelerates to astandstill.
However,the ICCsystem canonlyapply up to
50% of the vehicle’s totalbraking power.This
system should only be used when traffic condi-
tions allowvehicle speeds to remain fairly con-
stant or when vehicle speeds change gradually.
If avehicle moves into the travel ling lane ahead
or if avehicle travelling ahead rapidly deceler-
ates,the distancebetween vehicles may
become closer because the ICCsystem cannot
deceleratethe vehiclequicklyenough. If thisoc-
curs, the ICCsystem will sound awarning chime
and illuminate the distancewarning light to no-
tifythe driver to take necessary action.
