The cellular signal icon is always displayed on the screen of the terminal and it indicates the strenght of the
cellular signal depending on where you are located.

NB: In the event of a weak signal ( ), transactions can be difficult to complete. It is recommended to move to a
location where the signal is stronger.
The battery
The IWL250 terminal is powered by a removable battery. The battery can perform approximately 100
transactions on a full charge. The battery is only recharged when the terminal is plugged into an elctrical wall
outlet or a cigarette lighter plug (adapter available on request). No battery other than the one supplied with your
terminal should be used.
Ensure that the terminal is connected when not in use. Upon terminal installation, the battery has been fully
charged. Subsequent recharges will require four hours to fully charge the battery. The degree of charge can be
directly verified on the terminal screen. When the terminal is connected, the battery will only be charged when a
recharge is necessary. In addition, the battery has an internal temperature control to prevent overheating.
