Discovery
This
screen
allows
the
user
to
search,
view
or
connect
with
other
fastening
controllers.
When
Start
Discovery is selected, it searches for the availability of all controllers over the network and
establishes
connections.
NOTE :
This
feature
will
list
the
controllers
which
are
currently
powered
ON
and
connected
to
same
network. It is available for remote connections only.
Do the following for connecting to other fastening controller:
Select
Start
Discovery .1.
A
list
of
available
controllers
will
be
displayed
on
the
screen.
Refer
to
the
table
for
descriptions
of
all
listed
parameters.
For
navigating
to
any
of
the
listed
controllers,
select
the
IP
address.2.
NOTE :
User
will
be
logged
out
of
the
current
controller
session.
At
the
Warning
prompt,
select
Yes.3.
At
the
login
screen,
enter
the
user
credentials
to
access
the
account.4.
Parameters
displayed
on
the
Discovery
screen
are
described
as
follows:
Parameter Description
Job
Name
Name
that
uniquely
identifies
the
job.
Controller
IP
Address
IP
Address
assigned
to
the
specific
controller.
SATA
Drive
ID
Identifies
the
drive
installed
on
the
controller.
Application
Version
Identifies
the
version
of
application
installed
on
the
controller.
MCE
Version
Identifies
the
version
of
MCE
installed
on
the
controller.
Controller
MAC
Address
MAC
address
of
the
controller.
Plant
Name
Name
that
uniquely
identifies
the
plant.
Assembly
Line
Name
Name
that
uniquely
identifies
the
assembly
line.
