What to do if my Ingersoll-Rand Controller has a loss of power?
- UuboothJul 26, 2025
If the Ingersoll-Rand Controller experiences a loss of power, start by checking the air supply to ensure adequate pressure to the starter. Inspect air lines for blockages or damage. A malfunctioning relay valve can also cause power loss, so clean or replace the valve and its lines, and lubricate it. Restricted exhaust flow is another potential cause; check for blocked or damaged piping, removing any dirt or foreign material, and address any ice build-up. Other causes include a damaged motor assembly (replace it), foreign material in the starter drive, damaged or worn drive parts (check and replace components), and inadequate lubrication (check for leaks and tighten joints).
