15.1 Set up Configuration Environment through the Console Port
1. Connect the supervisory computer to the router
Connect the serial ports of supervisory computer through configuring the Console port between the
cable and router.
2. Configure parameters of supervisory computer
The operating steps are as follows (taking Windows XP system as an example):
