Chapter 1 Getting Started
Welcome to your new inkBOOK!
This short guide will help to describe you the features and functionality of your inkBOOK.
Some functionalities may not be available based on your country of residence or location or
inkBOOK model. Please always visit www.inkbook.eu/support for more information about
specific features or ask us a question on help@inkbook.eu
First turning on and Setting up your inkBOOK
We do recommend that before starting you should connect your inkBOOK to power source
5V 1A or to your computer. Done? Thanks, so here we go!
Setting up your inkBOOK takes a few simple and easy steps:
1. While still on cable please turn your inkBOOK on.
2. Select the language and follow the settings on screen.
3. Connect to a wireless network, introduce your WiFi password.
4. Your inkBOOK will now prompt you about firmware update if such is available.
Please make sure you are still connected by cable to power source and accept
update. That may take a while (if there is no update that means your inkBOOK has
already the newest firmware). Your device must be charged at minimum 30% to
install the update.
5. From time to time we are also updating on-line the content of inkBOOK Plus store. If
such an update will happen you will recognize it by seeing the following screen:
