5 Communication Examples
5.1 AB L16ER Controller as the Master
This example uses Studio5000 Logix Designer version 32.00.00 with 1769-L16ER-BB1B
being the master. The information such as IP address has been con󶍾gured according
to the user guide. Connect either network port on the expansion card. Set F0-02, F0-03,
FD-00, and FD-01 to 2, 9, 9, and 3 respectively before using the expansion card.
Step 1 : Create a new project.
Open New project window from Studio5000 software, select 1769-L16ER-BB1B in
CompactLogix 5370 Controller.
