Adjusting the Settings / Performance
Selecting a Level: To select the different pH settings, simply depress the ALKALINE or ACIDIC
BUTTON on the panel.
Adjust the Flow Rate: The FLOW CONTROL KNOB will have a direct relationship on the performance
of your machine. You will get less pH with a fast flow and more with a slow flow. Use the reagent drops
to test to see which level of pH you are achieving.
Learning to test your water: Using caution, take the red reagent from the pH Kit, place 2 or 3 drops
into the plastic sample cup provided with the reagent or into one of the test tubes you have rinsed, then
add one inch of water and shake. Compare to the pH chart. Test the pH of your tap water, and then test
the water from the machine using the various settings. Performance of your water machine will vary
depending on your source water and flow.
Drinking alkaline water for the first time? DO NOT use a high setting to begin with. Start with water
produced using a setting that tested to a blue or blue/green color (using your reagent kit and color chart) or
you may
experience detox symptoms. Let your body adjust slowly and naturally for 4-7 days. After this
initial adjustment period, you may gradually increase the alkalinity of the water to the next higher setting.
Detoxification: With its amazing ability to hydrate far more effectively than ordinary water, some people
may experience mild detox symptoms as the water efficiently flushes out toxins. If symptoms persist for a
prolonged period, consult a qualified medical professional.
Filter May Have Unseated During Shipment
Sometimes during shipping the filters can become unseated…Please make sure each of your filters is
properly installed before first use.
Once you have your machine installed and the water running, if you notice any leaking around the top or
bottom of either of your filters, it is most likely an o-ring that is not quite seated correctly.
Removing and replacing the filter and cup can usually resolve this.
Pushing down on the spring-loaded base, you can then insert the top of the filter into its proper position.
Give the filter a twist or two, to help seat the o rings.
Run the machine again, and inspect the filters. If there is any leaking going on around the top or bottom
of the filters, attempt to reseat the o rings one more time, then call customer service if unable to resolve.
Quick troubleshooting tips
Ensure the small metallic valve on the bottom
adjacent to the “Tap Water Inlet” is fully open
Unable to get high or low pH
Adjust the Flow Rate knob on the front
Calcium being ionized in your water is visible – not a
problem, reducing pH level may help
Do NOT attempt to repair your water machine—doing so will VOID your valuable warranty!
