Press the power button on the LCD monitor to turn it on.
Use the 'up' and 'down' arrows on the monitor to zoom in or out.
Set the LCD device to picture mode (displaying 'A') then press the 'Snap' key.
Set the LCD device to video mode (displaying a camera icon) then press the 'OK' key.
Rotate the illumination wheel on the bottom left to turn on the microscope lighting.
