TEMPORARY LIFELINE IRUDEK X2
CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE TEMPORARY
LIFELINE
The temporary lifeline 20 M Irudek X2 is classified as PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment ) by
the by the European PPE Regulation EU 2016/425, is in conformity to the European Norm EN
795:2012; B.C. & TS 16415:2013 certificated for the use of 2 people simultaneously.

APPLICATION
The temporary lifeline Irudek is designed to be used as a mobile anchorage line in applications
where there is no permanent anchorage line.
The maximum length is 20 m and it is for use between 3 to 20 m.
INSTALLATION, USE
It is convenient to take precautions to evaluate the adequacy of the temporary lifeline Irudek and its
corresponding fixings to the application it is intended for.
It is convenient that the viability of the installation can be verified by a qualified engineer.
Follow steps 1 to 7 for the installation, use of the temporary lifeline Irudek :
Step 1:
Identify 2 anchorage points so that the line joining the two, lies on the area where the
lifeline should be installed. Ensure that the anchorage point has a minimum resistance of 12 kN.
Step 2:
Connect the connector (EN 362) of the shortest line to one of the anchorage points.
Step 3:
Unroll the webbing and connect the other connector (EN 362) on the other end to the other
anchorage point.
Step 4:
Insert the remaining webbing through the ratchet.
Step 5:
Use the ratchet tensioner to adjust the lifeline and verify that it is taut. Ensure that it is not
too taut. Roll the webbing manually and store in the bag.
Step 6:
Connect the connector (EN 362) of the fall arrest device (EN 355, EN 353-2, EN 360) to
the temporary lifeline Irudek and the other end to the anchorage point of the harness (EN 361).
Step 7:
Now you can work and slide freely through the temporary lifeline Irudek.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The temporary lifeline Irudek is designed to be used in spans upto 20 m maximum. For a fall with
lifeline fitted on spans of 3m, 10m and 20m, the values for force, tension and deflection are stated
in table below.
