10. Intake Manifold and Gasket
1) Install the intake manifold gasket.
The intake manifold gasket must be installed
with its unchamfered corner facing up and to
the front of the engine.
Refer to the illustration.
2) Install the intake manifold.
3) Tighten the intake manifold bolts to the speci-
fied torque a little at a time in the numerical
order shown in the illustration.

11. Exhaust Manifold and Gasket
1) Install the exhaust manifold gasket.
The “TOP” mark must be facing up.
2) install the exhaust manifold.
3) Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts to the speci-
fied torque a little at a time in the numerical
order shown in the illustration.
