Glow Plug Indicator Light
V
This indicator light comes on when
the starter switch is turned to the "ON"
position and goes out when preheating is
completed. When the indicator light has
gone out, the engine can be started.
However, depending on the engine coolant
temperature, the indicator light may not
come on.
[6HK1 engine model]
The light will come on for about 1-1/2
seconds to 10 seconds, but when the
engine coolant temperature is above -5°C
(23°F), the light will not come on.
[4HK1 engine model]
The light will come on for about 1-1/2 to
10 seconds, and when the engine coolant
temperature is above 10°C (50°F), the light
will come on for 1/2 seconds.
Starting the Engine

[6HH1 engine model]
The light will come on for about 15 seconds
to 20 seconds, but when the engine coolant
temperature is above -5°C (23°F), the light
will not come on.
Warm-Up System Indicator Light
V
This indicator light comes on when the
warm-up switch is pressed. While this
indicator is on, the engine is warmed up.
