When the parking brake lever is pulled up
to the "PARKING" position, the trailer's
parking brake is set or both trailer and
tractor parking brakes are set. The parking
brake warning light will then come on. To
release the parking brake lever, return it to
the "RELEASE" position while raising the
release knob.

CAUTION
When parking or stopping the vehicle, pull the parking brake lever and make
sure that the vehicle does not start moving.
If you must park the vehicle on a slope, block the wheels with chocks.
Unless the parking brake lever is fully released while driving, a brake fault and
fire may be caused.
Except in an emergency, apply the parking brake only after the vehicle comes to
a complete stop. If you apply the parking brake while the vehicle is still moving,
the vehicle may be damaged.
After using the parking brake while driving, be sure to check if any failure has
been caused.
