CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS
NOTE
While the engine is not in operation, you cannot shift gears by moving the
gearshift lever. Start the engine before you can change the gear.
When the vehicle is stationary with the engine running, the shift lock function
works for safety. You cannot move the gearshift lever from "N" into "D" or "R"
without depressing the brake pedal.
When starting the vehicle, be sure to operate the gearshift lever while pressing
the brake pedal.
