Overview

This document serves as the User Manual for the it2163N Mobile Phone, providing essential information for its operation, maintenance, and safety.

The it2163N Mobile Phone is designed to offer a range of practical functions to enhance daily work and leisure activities. It features a user-friendly human-computer interface, ensuring that its comprehensive functionalities cater to diverse user requirements. The phone includes a name card holder, various scene modes, messaging capabilities, and both audio and video players. Additionally, it incorporates an alarm clock and a calculator, making it a versatile tool for everyday use. The device is designed to be compliant with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU, as declared by ITEL MOBILE LIMITED.

Before using the phone, it is crucial to properly install the SIM card and, if desired, a memory card. The phone requires a valid Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card, which is provided by a network supplier, to enable network services. To prevent data loss or damage to the SIM card, users should avoid touching its metal contact surface and keep it away from electrical and magnetic forces. Damage to the SIM card can impair the phone's normal operation. It is imperative to power off the phone before inserting or removing the SIM card, as attempting this with external power supplied can damage both the SIM card and the phone. Given the limited internal storage of the mobile phone, inserting an external memory card is highly recommended. This allows for a better experience with video playback, music, recording, and other functions that require more storage. If a memory card fails to function, users should verify its correct placement and ensure good contact of its metal points. Both the SIM card and T-card (memory card) should be installed according to the screen printing instructions provided on the device.

The phone is powered by a rechargeable battery, and proper charging procedures are essential for its longevity and safe operation. To charge the device, the charger should be inserted into the designated charging interface. When the battery level is critically low, the phone will automatically power off. It is important to avoid leaving the battery in a state of insufficient charge for extended periods, as this can negatively impact battery quality and service life. Conversely, prolonged charging should also be avoided. To ensure the phone's normal operation, it is crucial to use only the designated charger.

Battery safety is paramount. Batteries should never be disposed of in fire, and users must adhere to local laws and ordinances for disposing of used batteries. Before charging, verify the charger's model number. Only approved batteries, chargers, and accessories specific to the mobile model should be used. The use of unauthorized battery types, chargers, or accessories may void certifications or warranty terms and could pose safety risks.

Regarding environmental responsibility, users are encouraged to return waste and used batteries to the supplier or designated recovery sites. There is a risk of explosion if an incorrect battery type is used. The phone is classified as electronic waste, and users are responsible for disposing of all electronic and electrical waste equipment at specified collection points for recycling. Proper collection and recovery of electronic waste equipment contribute to environmental preservation and ensure human health and safety.

Instructions for product disposal include dropping used electronic products, batteries, and packaging materials at the nearest disposal or collection center at the end of their life. Packaging materials should be sorted for recycling according to waste disposal options. The battery must be removed from the product for recycling. It is strictly prohibited to dispose of e-waste in garbage bins or municipal solid waste streams. Improper handling, accidental breakage, or incorrect recycling of end-of-life products can have severe consequences. If batteries are not properly disposed of, they can harm human health and the environment. Contact between battery terminals and metal objects can cause a fire.

For care and maintenance of the battery, it is necessary to charge the battery when it is running low. To extend battery life, a new battery should be fully discharged during its first use. The charger should be unplugged from the electrical outlet and the device when not in use. Avoid leaving a fully charged battery connected to a charger for more than a week, as overcharging can shorten its lifespan. The phone should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, specifically below 0°C or above 45°C. Temperature fluctuations can affect the battery's charging limits, so it may need to be cooled or warmed before charging. Charging should be stopped if the battery temperature exceeds 55°C or drops below 0°C, and resumed when it is between 5°C and 50°C. The battery should only be used for its intended purpose, and short-circuiting must be avoided. Accidental short-circuiting can occur if a metallic object connects the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. Damaged batteries should never be used. Storing the battery in hot or cold places will reduce its capacity and lifespan. A device with a hot or cold battery may temporarily malfunction even when fully charged. Batteries should not be disposed of in fire, as they may explode; instead, they should be disposed of according to local regulations.

General care and maintenance of the device include keeping it and its accessories out of reach of small children. The device should be kept dry, as all types of liquids or moisture can corrode electronic circuits. Avoid storing the device in hot areas, as high temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices and warp or melt plastics. Users should not attempt to open the device except as instructed in this guide, as non-professional handling can cause damage. Harsh chemicals or strong detergents should not be used to clean the device. Only supplied or approved replacement attachments should be used, as unauthorized ones could invalidate the warranty.

Additional safety information emphasizes following special regulations and using the device only in its normal operating positions. For traffic safety, unless it is an emergency, the device should not be used while driving a vehicle without safety wireless equipment. The vehicle should be parked in a safe location before using the device to ensure full attention to driving. Relevant regulations must be observed. In the absence of adequate protection, the device's electric waves may affect certain electronic systems of the vehicle. It is recommended to use the device only in vehicles equipped with an antenna, and only qualified personnel should install the device in a vehicle.

For aircraft safety, the device must be switched off before boarding an aircraft. The use of wireless teledevices in an aircraft can be dangerous to aircraft operation, disrupt the wireless telephone network, and may be illegal. GSM service will be unavailable, and using the device in a flying aircraft is prohibited.

Regarding environmental safety, users must remember to follow special regulations in force in any area and always switch off the device when its use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. The operation of any radio transmitting equipment, including wireless phones, may interfere with inadequately protected medical devices. Users should consult a physician or the medical device manufacturer for any questions. The device may interfere with some hearing aids, pacemakers, and other medical devices, so users should obey the suggestions provided by physicians or medical device manufacturers. It is recommended to switch off the device in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres, such as gas stations or chemical factories. Restrictions on the use of radio equipment must be observed. The socket-outlet for charging should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.

The device complies with RF specifications when used at 5 mm from the body, and the holder must not be made of metal. To prevent possible hearing damage, users should avoid listening at high volume levels for long periods. The earphone and USB cable are shielded. The product should only be connected to a USB 2.0 interface. The adapter must be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible. The EUT (Equipment Under Test) temperature range for standalone operation is 0℃ to +55℃, and with an adapter, it is 5°C to +40°C. The provided adapters (IML06 and L17ZIEA) have an input of 100-240V~50/60Hz and an output of 5V 350mA.
