Scan the occlusal surface in a single
continuous motion.
When the wand reaches the cuspid,
continue by swiping across the anterior,
tilting slightly to the lingual until the
wand touches the contralateral cuspid.
Proceed by moving the tip straight back
to the terminal molar.
