Something unexpected happens when I press a key
• You may have pressed a key combination that performs a Windows function. Make sure you are pressing the
correct keys for the application you are running.
I can’t tell if I’m in NUM LOCK mode
• This icon appears on the Windows 98 Taskbar when NUM LOCK is enabled:
Pressing NUM LK toggles the NUM LOCK mode on and off.
Incorrect characters appear on the screen when I press certain keys
• You may be in NUM LOCK mode. Press FN+NUM LK to toggle NUM LOCK mode off.
