What to do if there is a sensor fault on my ITT Controller?
- JJustin LawsonAug 12, 2025
The ITT Controller won't run if the signal from the sensor is disconnected or out of tolerance. The controller will automatically restart when the signal is within tolerance. Possible causes include a disconnected sensor (ensure it's properly connected), a disconnected sensor cable lead inside the controller (check for loose wires), a broken wire in the sensor cable, a miswired sensor cable (verify correct terminal connections: B=Black, R=Red, W=White), or a failed sensor (measure DC voltage between black and white wires at the sensor connector; it should be between 0.5Vdc and 4.5Vdc). If the fault persists, contact your installer.
